Abstract - A brief summary, usually of an article, book, or chapter in a book.

Annotation - A short description or comment about a book or article, usually telling what it is about, or evaluating it, or both.
Sentence: My annotation of the black bottom book was horrible, because I didn't like the book.

Bibliography - A list of books, magazine articles, and other materials, usually on a particular topic or by a particular author.
Sentence: The bibliography that my supervisor gave me was so long with to many books.

Catalog - A file of records arranged systematically, listing all the books, periodical titles, and other materials owned by a library.
Sentence: The catalog of the new books were fantastic, because I like many of those books.
I hear that word from my other supervisor when I was working with her.
Database - A collection of articles, or records, stored in electronic form that can be searched by users with Internet access.
Sentence: The database that we use in the library is very public and many people can use our information for anything.
I hear that word from my teacher.
